Stand up paddle in Caleta de Fuste

Stand Up Paddling is an emerging water sport, where one moves through water or surf the waves while standing and paddling on the board. Called Hoe he’e nalu in Hawaiian, or more fondly known as SUP, this offshoot of surfing activity can be traced back to its Polynesian origin. Be it adventurously surfing the breaking swells or leisurely paddling through canals, rivers, lakes or along the sea coasts, Stand Up Paddle offers more variations in practicing the sport. There are various spots on Fuerteventura where you can do SUP, especially on the eastern coast of the island namely the Rocky Point, The Donkey, Puerto Lajas and Entubadera. But you need to know what you are doing especially if you are not familiar with such spots. We offer 3 hours Stand Up Paddling courses for beginner on flat water and if you are more advanced, on waves. There is also a 3-day SUP course where you will commence on flat water before moving on to riding waves.
